Mobile application YapMap: meet local people, date, communicate with like-minded individuals, set up group meetings, online and offline events, advertise your business and much more. The application is designed to help single people find a partner, friends, like-minded people for online and offline communication, help create various kinds of events.The application has the following main features: Dating. The app uses current location so users can see where people are on the map, there is also an option to view the results in the list form. Users can chat using emojis, stickers, background wallpaper, exchange personal photos and images.
To increase the distance of profile visibility users can buy a subscription for a desired period of time. A flexible scale of discounts is available depending on the increase of the visibility radius and the length of the subscription.
Meet and get to know people with common interests.
Live events with like-minded people. For example, users can throw a birthday party, hold a sporting event, talk about politics, organize a meeting with a writer, attend a musical performance with people of similar interests, etc. Users can also join an event organized by someone else or create their own event and invite people from their contact list, other social networks or participants of the app itself. The event will appear on the map as well as in the search results based on key words in the title and the description of the event. Users can also see the map location of event participants.
Online events with like-minded people. Users can announce their webinar, course or online broadcast with the information of the date, time and broadcast platform and collect contact data of the audience to send them event reminders. Users can also see the map location of event participants (Optional).
Creation of group chats. Chats will appear on a screen of search results based on key words in the title and the description of the group. Users can also see the map location of chat participants (Optional).
Creation of social media channels. Channels will appear on a screen of search results based on key words in the title and the description of the channel. Users can also see the map location of chat participants (Optional).
The app offers an option to create a free business page as part of user account and have it displayed on the map as a pin. The business pin will be visible to everyone within a 30 miles radius. If a user needs to increase the radius of their business’ visibility, they can buy a subscription and select its duration. A flexible scale of discounts is available depending on the increase of the visibility radius and the length of the subscription. There’s also an option to add several businesses.
The app uses a virtual currency MetaFek Coin (MFC) as the payment method for all internal services and purchases. Users can acquire it through Apple Store after they log into their account. MetaFek Coins can also be earned by inviting friends to join YapMap.
